Risk Disclosure
What you should understand before trading leveraged products.
1. Leveraged products
Contracts for Difference (CFDs) are leveraged products. A small movement in the underlying market produces a proportionally larger movement in your account, in both directions. You can lose your entire deposit rapidly.
2. Suitability
CFDs are not suitable for everyone. Before trading you should consider your investment objectives, level of experience, financial situation and appetite for risk, and seek independent advice if anything is unclear.
3. Market risk
Prices are influenced by economic data, central bank policy, geopolitics and liquidity. Markets can gap — opening at a materially different price from the previous close — which means a stop loss may be filled at a worse level than requested.
4. Margin and stop-out
You must maintain sufficient margin. If your margin level falls below the stop-out threshold, positions may be closed automatically without further notice. Monitoring your margin is your responsibility.
5. Negative balance protection
All retail accounts include negative balance protection, so you cannot lose more than the balance in your trading account. This does not reduce the risk of losing that balance.
6. Technology risk
Online trading depends on internet connectivity, hardware and software. Interruptions can delay or prevent order execution. Alternative arrangements, such as contacting our dealing desk, should be considered for critical positions.
7. Costs
Spreads, commissions and overnight swap charges reduce returns over time. Frequent trading multiplies these costs, and a strategy profitable before costs may not be profitable after them.
8. No guarantees
Past performance is not a reliable indicator of future results. No representation is made that any account will or is likely to achieve profits comparable to those discussed on this website or in marketing material.
